Goodwill Guest House, Ozran Vagator, Goa

Preface:

Today I am going to review Goodwill Guest House at Ozran- Vagator, Goa, which made us feel like a home away from home.  This time we decided to celebrate our year-ending time as well as to attend Sunburn Festival,2022 at Goa in little Vagator or Ozran beach. Our planning started back in June  2022, we are searching for a budget yet near the beach and the festival ground. Well, I know budget-friendly at a prime location at this time of the year is not an easy task. Then we found this guest house on Airbnb, which was in a good location with an economical price range. Not only that but we were also welcomed by a very jovial host– Mr. Hedwig D’souza,. So without further adieu, let’s talk in detail about the guest house.

Okay, this is just as per google directions. Let me tell you the real location of this place. It is just 450 meters from the Ozran beach and the same from the festival ground, the nearest market is at 600 meters. So it is almost at the perfect location if anyone wants to do everything at a walkable distance.

Staying at Goodwill Guest House:

This guest house has both AC and Non-Ac rooms. Or better to say there are separate cottages for each family and those cottages are stand-alone, so there is minimal chance for your peace being disturbed. In our cottage, there was a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a balcony with a railing.

Bedroom:

It was neither small nor big, just adequate. There was an almirah with a locker, a table, a tv, and a bedside table apart from the queen size double bed. Two beautiful windows are there, so no problem with ventilation if you don’t want to turn the AC on.

Kitchen:

 The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, an induction cooker, and a refrigerator. It is sufficient for a little family to cook their needs. But the main USP was that the host surprised us by offering so much food without any cost. He has given us eggs, dark chocolates, ready-to-cook chapatis, Milk, Buttermilk, Srikhands, Cornflakes, snacks, tea bags, and butter. All items were sealed and packed.

Bathroom:

The bathroom was simple, with a small basin and geyser. It would be better if the bathroom had a little more space and we didn’t face any shortage of water.

Balcony:

Our balcony was surrounded by a railing. There were chairs, led lights, and ashtrays, if you want to try some peaceful late-night thoughts for yourself, this balcony is a suitable place for that.

            The host and owners live in the area but they never disturbed us. The whole guest house is surrounded by trees and plants, even the cottages have plant pots, so soothing.

Hospitality at Goodwill Guest House:

Mr. Hedwig D’souza, you are such a lovely man. We rarely see such a helpful and friendly host. If you stay here, you will feel it yourself, like you have never left the warmth of the house. He is always there to help and never complains or disturbs the guests. Every day he asked us about our staying conditions, even for him we got some good deals with a scooter and a car rental. Rely on this man without any doubt.

So if you are looking for an economical peaceful place to stay with a homely host at a good location, Try Goodwill Guest House. Another thing, apart from Airbnb, you can also book directly, I have given his contact details above.
